I am a Health and Physical Education and Vocational Education teacher with over 15 years of experience working in Government and Catholic schools in Western Australia. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts (Education), Bachelor of Science (Youth, Health and Physical Activity), a Master of Education specialising in Learning Difficulties, and a Graduate Certificate of Education in Educational Leadership. Through these experiences, I have fostered an engaging learning environment cultivated through sound classroom management practices. I have exceptional communication skills, and through my teaching and the general nature of Health and Physical Education, I have developed strong pastoral care skills, which I aim to continue to grow through career opportunities that may arise in the future. The different roles I have held have seen me develop the capacity for creating and evaluating different learning programmes and recognising areas for improvement; I am also a proficient, hardworking and self-motivated individual who enjoys a challenge daily. I am motivated by success and possess strong leadership, decision-making and interpersonal skills. I can cope well under pressure and thrive in a team environment with my passion for building strong relationships with other educators, non-teaching staff, parents, and, most importantly, students to benefit their learning. I am also highly passionate about independent and collaborative learning whilst using ICT in the classroom.
