Miky Smith

I am dedicated and professional educator ready to utilise excellent organisation skills in a new setting. Both a communicator and a listener, I have experience working respectfully with a diverse range of students and colleagues. I am well versed in current Victorian educational requirements and how they can be met with cultural opportunities and innovative learning environments. Exploring new learning paths is my passion, which I pursued through my study of Steiner education, working at Preshil and volunteering in schools that displayed alternative philosophies.

My love for continued learning can be evidenced through my continuous study. I have recently revisited my training in the in the area of Instrumental Enrichment (Feuerstein Method) in Boston.

I love working in a team, and volunteered for years as Vice President of the community run kinder that my three daughters attended. In this position I recruited staff, created PD plans, reviewed staff and wrote policy.
