Farming for family

• Fertilize and apply treatments – Spread organic or chemical fertilizers, and spray pesticides or herbicides to protect crops.
• Weed and thin crops – Remove weeds manually or mechanically and thin overcrowded plants for better growth.
• Harvest produce – Hand-pick, cut, or use small harvesters to gather rice, grains, fruits, or vegetables at peak ripeness.
• Process and store harvest – Thresh, dry, clean, and bag crops; store in barns or silos to prevent spoilage.
• Maintain tools and equipment – Repair plows, hoes, irrigation lines, and small engines; care for work animals if used.
