Hi, my name is Minsun, and I am an ECT-qualified educator with NESA accreditation for two years. I have over five and a half years of experience in early childhood education, during which I have developed a strong foundation in creating engaging and stimulating learning programs and environments. I focus on nurturing relationships that foster children’s holistic learning and development and have honed my leadership and management skills through teamwork within various organisations.
I am excited to contribute my passion and dedication for early childhood education to your team. My interest in this field began during my studies in secondary education at Sydney University, and I further pursued this passion by specialising in Early Childhood Education (birth to five) at TAFE NSW. Through my studies and direct experiences with children and families, I have come to understand that the early years are crucial for children's holistic development, laying the foundation for their learning, health, and growth mindset throughout their lives. I am passionate about working with children, families, co-educators, and the broader team, and I look forward to using my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on their lives.
I am particularly drawn to play-based learning, child-centred curriculum, and a holistic approach to early childhood education. My experience includes serving as a room leader, where I focused on building a strong sense of community and teamwork to provide children with a safe and trusted learning environment. I believe children thrive through respectful relationships and benefit from play-based learning programs.
I am skilled in facilitating group and individual learning experiences, supporting the individual needs of children, communicating effectively with parents, managing classrooms, and utilising creative problem-solving and teaching methods. I also have experience collaborating with other health professionals. Additionally, I am proficient in developing and implementing curricula aligned with the EYLF and NQF. I am confident in tracking children's holistic learning and development through various documentation methods, such as Daily Diaries, Individual Developmental Learning Plans, floor books, and other essential legal documents, including Incident/Illness reports and daily routine records.
I believe my skills and experience align perfectly with the requirements of the ECT position and the values of your organisation, particularly in supporting the learning and development of young children and families.
