Criminal Law:

  • Manage criminal law matters from start to finish with minimal supervision and a high level of independence under the guidance of Principal Solicitors.
  • Represent clients in court appearances before Brisbane’s Magistrates and District Courts in the capacity of a Law Clerk.

Accomplishments

    During my time at O'Sullivans Law Firm, I managed minor criminal cases, including two public nuisance charges with a not guilty plea, from start to finish. This included liaising with the client, drafting affidavits for both the client and witnesses, preparing and submitting legal documents to prosecutors, attending court mentions, and gathering Briefs of Evidence with minimal supervision from July 2024 to November 2024. The client received a favorable outcome, Neto, with the prosecutors dropping the charges on the final trial date.
