Based at the Laverton Chilled Distribution Centre (CDC) the role provide analysis, advise and coach the senior and front-line operations management team on all matters relating to safety. The CDC was a 24/7 operation, have a footprint of 45,000m2, containing three temperature controlled chambers and services 249 supermarkets across Victoria and Tasmania. The DC employs over 700 team members, handled on average of 1.8m cartons per week.

  • Developed comprehensive action plans for addressing any non-compliance issues identified during inspections and incident investigations
  • Lead hazard assessments, safety improvement projects and monitoring to identify risk exposures, corrective actions, and provided training to senior management on safety leadership
