Graduated from Sacred Heart College in 2018. My ATAR subjects included Accounting, Economics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. After graduating from highschool, I went straight into full time work as a Furniture installer for Furnx WA Pty Ltd - Rapidline. I also started my Bachelor of Commerce degree at Curtin University around this time - double majoring in Business Management and Marketing. I both worked and studied full time for 2 years until I was given an opportunity to work up north at a small gold mining site. I took the opportunity and due to working 12 hour days, I cut down from full time study to part time study. I stayed at this job for 5 months where I helped out around the office and learnt many new other skills. The Chief surveyor took me under his wing and taught me all the basics about surveying. I learnt quickly and was even given the responsibility to take care of the surveying department for a whole week while the head surveyor was away. After 5 months, I decided the mines wasn't for me and have been working full time at my current job ever since as a truck driver/furniture mover for 740 Designs. However, I am now in the last year of my degree and am looking to find work in the industry that I am studying to have a future career in.
