Job description:

  • Planning & leading construction activities according to reference design in Lower Plenty project preparing the structure box for two tunnel boring machine (TBM’s) which had been lunched 1.8km further north from Watsonia railway station.
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring cut and fill activities in the box.
  • Coordinating night shift activities and getting required permits.
  • Preparing construction packages like micro piles, base slabs& smoke duct and ensure procurement team can get all technical details to get required resources.
  • Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly program and tracking sheets for concrete & steel suppliers, subcontractors.
  • Managing the Formwork, Reinforcement& Pouring activities (FRP) in box and liaise with piling and D-wall team to get the job done on time.

The two-level crossings are some of Melbourne’s worst and will be removed by lowering the rail line beneath the roads in an open trench and building a new premium station with better facilities and more services.

Job description:

  • Review and verify productivity for each trade and enhance the productivity rate where it is required.
  • Procurement – Managing all pre-contract works and negotiate with sub-contractors.
  • Accruals & Forecasting – Progressing and submitting the accruals and works forecasting as per required dates - Cost Tracking – Managing and updating cost tracker daily.
  • Monthly Claims – Reviewing and approving the monthly claims which are submitted by subcontractors based on percentage of achievements.
  • Planning – Preparing 6 and 2 weeks look ahead programs and update them progressively.
  • Permits – Prepare all required permits prior commencing the actual works - Weekly Meeting – Proceed weekly meetings with subcontractors to go through sequence of works, quality, commercial issues, design issues and program.
  • Site Works – Attending site to make sure all works are implemented as per design and required quality.

  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
  • Control the project cost and manpower productivity.
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.

  • Job description:
  • Carry out all construction and utilities activities in line with the approved plan; coordinated with managements to comply with company procedure, HSE procedure, QA/QC procedure, project specification, and statutory regulation, and complying with all production rates.
