I was involved in rostering staff according to occupancy. Stock take. Stock ordering with approved status via hotel manager. Briefing with chefs and team. Pre service checks of restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ensuring service is flowing smoothly, delays are dealt with promptly, disgruntle guests dealt with professionally and unhappy guests attended too and high level. Closing down procedures. Final checks before sending staff home. Reports. Attending to emails. Setting up Conference rooms, ensuring that all requirements have been attended to and communicating with organiser of last minute changes and advising guests on Emergency procedures and exit areas.
