Key Projects :
1- AEMO/GE EMS 3.4 Customizations – Network Applications:
Duration: ongoing.
Currently working on the customization of AEMO’s e-terra system EMS 3.4 with a focus on network applications such as RTNET, STNET, Contingency Analysis (CA), and Remedial Action Schemes (RAS)...etc.
- Collaborated closely with developers to review and implement necessary changes in network applications.
- Built the system in the development environment using Visual Studio after code changes, ensuring updates aligned with project requirements.
- Updated database definitions to meet custom requirements, modifying the database online as needed and monitoring the database size to ensure optimal performance.
- Engaged in regular communication with the customer (AEMO) to provide progress updates, discuss change requirements, and address challenges encountered throughout the project.
- Practiced time management to ensure milestones remained on track and deadlines were met.
- Actively worked to identify and solve issues, collaborating with teams to find effective solutions that align with both technical and customer requirements.
- Performed rigorous testing to verify customizations, especially after porting to the upgraded EMS 3.4 .
- Created testing instructions and updated the detailed design document to support the EMS 3.4 upgrade.
- Escalated technical challenges and coordinated with the GE product team for efficient issue resolution.
- Worked with AEMO’s team to resolve ongoing issues, enhancing system reliability and functionality.
- Managed display and database changes to align with network application customizations, maintaining system accuracy and performance.
- Facilitated cross-border collaboration by working with multiple international teams to achieve project milestones.
