• Develop and implement specific HSE procedures, guidelines and risk assessment/Management of Change through continuous analysis, effective performance monitoring/tracking and communication with relevant stakeholders to meet field HSE performance target and regulatory compliance.
• Lead a team of engineers for the closure of MPM’s Tier-2 Integrated Operational Asset Integrity Assurance (IOAIA) Audit findings for all disciplines (HSE, Process Safety Management, Structural, Electrical, Instrument, Static, Rotating, Pipeline, wells, and marine) as per the agreed timeline and Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
• Conduct bi-weekly review sessions for Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) with all the relevant stakeholders and contractors to prioritize jobs and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective job execution.
• Managing Turnaround (TA) and shutdown activities through all the stages - Initiation, Planning and preparation, Pre-execution, Post execution. The activities and procedures include: TA Risk assessment, TA implementation Plan, TA Scope Optimization (TASCO-1), TA Schedule Optimization (TASCO-2), TA Readiness Review (TARR), Shutdown & Start-up sequencing, Pre-Shutdown Safety Review (PSSR), Pre-Activity Safety Review (PASR), TA Lessons earnt (TALL)
• Review and approve contractor’s workpacks which include the detailed scope of work, Job Method Statement (JMS), detailed work schedule, isolation plans, Emergency Response Plans (ERP), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
• Review the Daily Operation Report (DOR) and provide technical engineering support and analysis to site management and personnel.
• Provide input for the field’s annual Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Work Program & Budget (WPB) exercises.
• Lead the technical & commercial evaluations of all field contracts and purchased items with the support of the procurement department by monitoring and conducting technical clarification and assessment, and other related procedures to meet technical specification and operational requirements.

• Assist the Material Corrosion Inspection (MCI) technical team represent Malaysia’s oil & gas governing body – Malaysian Petroleum Management (MPM), to lead the Cost Reduction Alliance (CORAL) 2.0 initiative with the mission to optimize cost, improve efficiencies and drive innovation.
• Conduct a cost analysis across all operating companies in Malaysia to identify, assess, and share the most cost-effective business practices, contracting strategies, integration of operation & maintenance campaigns, and leveraging innovative technology.
• Evaluating Aerial Inspection vendors’ services by assessing their technical competency, software technology utilized, and hardware/machinery specifications.
• Contribute to the amendment of the following documents: PETRONAS Technical Standards (PTS), PETRONAS Procedures and Guidelines for Upstream Activities (PPGUA), Loss of Primary Containment (LOPC), Constructing a database for Asset Management technologies across the PA contractors as a part of TRT.
