Molly Smith

I am a 22-year-old from Upstate New York with hands-on experience in customer service with my families garden center, and florist shop. I have been the event venue assistant through my family’s wedding venue. While I’ve been involved with the florist shop and garden center since high school, I began helping at the wedding venue in late 2023. Growing up in a family-run business has given me a strong foundation in working directly with customers, adapting to seasonal demands, and supporting a team. I’m used to working full-time hours and handling a variety of responsibilities—from floral deliveries and retail support to venue tours and event-day setup. I’ve had the opportunity to assist with weddings, proms, baby showers, and other celebrations, and I’ve learned the value of clear communication and attention to detail. I understand how important it is to gain experience beyond one business. I’m looking to grow, explore new environments, and continue developing professionally. I want future employers to have a real understanding of who they’re hiring—not just from a resume, but from how I show up, and work with others.
