Working as a senior business analyst within the Westpac digital space responsible for key product and feature enhancement across all Westpac digital channel and ecosystem.

• Conducted requirements discovery and scoping workshops with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes, customers journeys, pain points and high-level requirements.
• Collaborated with UX/UI designers, solution designers and legal/risk/compliance teams to ensure solutions met business and regulatory requirements resulting in an improved experience for bankers regardless of brand.
• Liaised with product owner, project manager and technical team with a responsibility for end-to-end delivery of features.
• Documented functional/non-functional requirements (user stories) and BPIV test scenarios in JIRA and Confluence.
• Drive and take ownership in delivering project risk deliverables including RCM, DPIA, PIA, EIM certification etc.

Notable work/Projects

Stronger Password rollout - Due to the complex nature of password policies across various ecosystems and the presence of over 3.5 million active customers, Mrinmoy has taken a leadership role in working with both internal and external digital stakeholders and has successfully delivered an end-to-end customer journey, encompassing requirement elicitation, testing, and progressive rollout across the customer base.

Fraud and scam intervention - Mrinmoy played a pivotal role in delivering in Westpac and RRB’s combined customer base of approximately 7 million, contributing significantly to recent fraud and scam uplift programs, including Safer Pay, Payee Name Checks, and Westpac 000 which help combat scam losses and improve fraud awareness within customer base. Due to these contributions, Mrinmoy earned the "Digital Superstar" award from the leadership team.

Coaching and process improvement - As the most senior member of the Business Analysis practice, I regularly participate in coaching and upskilling new members and graduates to familiarize them with Westpac’s core values and Business Analysis artifacts. I have also taken ownership of improving various documentation artifacts, such as the Story template for Confluence, Westpac horizontal guidelines, and Jira hygiene, among others.

Business System Analyst - Bank Data warehouse (BDW2.0) – AMP Bank

• Design and document a control framework for the data warehouse by analysing business requirements and constructing system capabilities, data flow charts, and diagrams.
• Trace data sources and document their journey, capturing origin, movement, characteristics, and quality.
• Create technical design documentation, including database schema, data structure, and table information for the data warehouse staging layer.
• Manage the project Confluence page and author various functional and technical documents, such as requirement user stories, interface design documents, risk matrices, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  

Senior Functional Analyst - Large Scale Digital/Financial Transformation – NSW Government Organisation (10,000+ users)

• Plan, design, and model data from diverse sources, including legacy systems.
• Define process maps and develop technical and functional documentation.
• Facilitate workshops to understand processes, gather requirements, and document improvements.
• Ensure design consistency and consider all user and technical requirements.
• Assist in go-live activities, including workshops, testing, and obtaining business sign-off to meet project deliverables on time and within budget.

EUC Lead - Cloud Infrastructure Review – State Transport

• Analysed Hybrid cloud Architecture to analyse Microsoft applications e.g. Office 365, Exchange deployment and produced gap analysis against best practices and industry standards
• Developed report to provide recommendations, risks, costs for proposed solution, vendor analysis, and recommended implementation roadmap.

Service Design BA Lead – Digital Transformation Project - DHS Canberra
• Led digital designs from user research insights, developed minimum fidelity prototypes, and conducted UX research.
• Led the Design session and facilitated courses and training across Government Departments, including cultural transformation, user research, and UX.
Information System Analyst – EUC Project – Defence Canberra
• Worked as part of Enterprise Architecture practice within Tech Assurance team; have knowledge with TAF framework and was lead reviewer of 300 + technical deliverable documents including system, design & implementation architecture documents across multi data center implementation with 100,000 active users, user migration, Exchange DR review, Master test script.
• Creation of management reports and technical documents to support post migration and user support.

Senior Technical Business Analyst – TOM Implementation Project
Led a team of 4 responsible for planning and designing SharePoint based solution and Implementation of Tax Operations Manager (TOM) for clients including Rio Tinto, CBA, and Mirvac. TOM is a SharePoint based technology platform that provides the tools for process management, document management, collaboration, management insights, and reporting across tax functions.

Senior Business analyst, Perpetual Transition Project, Perpetual Limited. October 2012 – December 2014

Led the BAU Integration project for the takeover of a large-scale financial organization. This role included planning and designing multiple Information System integrations and consolidations, Database server upgrades and integrations, knowledge transfer of 900+ applications, upgrades of over 300+ physical servers, and 200+ application upgrades. Developed a plan to facilitate the offshore counterparts' successful transition of application knowledge for future support, reducing costs and improving business processes.

CHIME Modernisation Project, Technical BA/FA, NSW HEALTH. August 2010 – September 2012

Led the functional design and delivery of a Community Health Information Management Enterprise system and was responsible for a range of work including data modelling and relationship mapping, conducting over 150 design workshops, creation of document management portal and owner of UAT environments and release cycle. The functional requirements were captured into a technical specification document as a deliverable.
