I have worked in the building and mining construction industry for 29 years. During that time, I have worked as an Employee, Sole Trader and now run my own Company, Donovan Carpentry PTY LTD, in which I sub contract to builders, most recently and currently, Tas City Building.

I believe that I am a highly skilled, quality focused Carpenter who is committed to following safety code regulations. I have been shown capable to take on multiple projects at once, running teams and teaching apprentices while working on complete home/commercial reconstruction, remodels and renovations.

I have been offered and accepted roles such as Leading Hand, Site Manager and Supervisor and I have carried out these responsibilities successfully and efficiently.

I pride myself on completing high quality work and always endeavour to produce my work to a high standard.

I feel that I have reached my full potential/goals in the Carpentry and Construction Industry and I am seeking further growth and a more rewarding career experience within the Community.

  • Kept job site cleaned up properly and finalised builds ready for handover.
  • TAFE was as block release. I was able to spend 2 weeks on campus, where I made lasting friendships with other people in the trade. This also helped with networking for upcoming projects and build a community in the industry.
