  • Overall Supervision of Officers/Staff within the Institution on Nightshift, responsible for Journal entries, recording of accommodation statistics, Muster counts, welfare checks and safe custody of the prisoners incarcerated, responding to incidents should they occur, and reporting to the On Call deputy Superintendents with reportable incidents
  • Mentoring, scheduling and organizing of staff for the duties required to be undertaken on Nightshift – general walking perimeter patrols, external vehicular patrols, staff roster rotations and responding to Emergency incident should they occur Corresponding with external Departments if required such as the NT Police At the finalization of the shift conducting sufficient handover to the oncoming Chief Correctional Officer operations
