Duties Include

• Scoping of Telstra Customer Access Network to ensure successful installation of New NBN Co. Fibre Optic Network.
• Provision of applications such as Time Stamp to capture scope of works completed
• Measuring existing Telstra infrastructure and create new design solutions where required for underground and aerial construction
• Training and induction of new staff members associated with Scoping Roles
• Perform safety prestart checks as per WHS and policy requirements, additionally, completion of Start Cards
• Liaise, advise, communicate with Team Supervisor Engineers and AutoCAD staff to overcome design and construction barriers
• Complete spreadsheets of civil construction and scope of works undertaken

Submit updated plans to reflect new construction built for the NBN

Duties Include

• Responsibility and administration of Telstra and Optus Networks Mobile Tower sites throughout NSW. This included the ability to scope existing infrastructure of pits, ducts etc. to assess suitability for the proposal of new infrastructure
• Responsibility and provision of project works completed using applications such as Time Stamp
• Project management and Construction Supervisor, responsible for leading a team of four people to successfully install new wideband services for Telstra, TPG and AARnet
• Skills, sound knowledge and understanding of procedures associated with Dial before you Dig plans for various utilities prior to commencing excavation activities
• Responsibility and recording of JSA’s on job sites to identify potential risks and hazards as per WHS and duty of care requirements to staff and general public
• Finalise Asbuilt plans for completed works to ensure correct invoicing of construction costs

Duties Include

• Complete Audit/Scope on Telstra’s Copper Network to assess condition of cable joints and scope of works to be completed for specification upgrades and Telstra NBN rollout
• Assess and maintain tools, resources, materials required to complete rehabilitation work in and on job site

· Perform Cable jointing associated with Telstra CAN Network, this included various sized cables, up to 100 pair cables

• Rehabilitate Telstra network cabling and cable joints
• Liaise, communicate and provide advice to customers over the phone and face to face
• Provision of advice and education to various customers, including NESB in the use of Telstra’s Services & Equipment
• Maintaining records/databases and appropriate paperwork

Duties Include

• Scoping of Telstra Customer Access Network for installation of New NBN Co. Fibre Optic Network
• Creating pre and post construction dilapidation reports using information technology such as iPads
• Training and induction of new staff members associated with Scoping Roles
• Supervise, manage subcontractors performing construction civil works for both remediation and new infrastructure required by NBN Co.
• Perform and report on QA Audits of completed contractor’s works in the field.
• Submit updated work plans to reflect new construction built for the NBN Network

Duties Include

• Providing support to Telstra Service Technicians and Supervisors working in the field.
• Effective management of all work commitments associated with customer appointments as per jobs dispatched to technicians in the field.
• Provide advice and liaise with customers of any blockers or delays that may occur potentially hindering works being completed.
• Knowledge and management of services associated with medical and priority customers.
• Provision of work reports to supervisors with updates on work progress during the day to ensure timelines are met.

Duties Include

• Providing technical support of the Macquarie University Siemens PABX system across the entire campus from the PABX to the End User including all voice and data cabling.
• Leading role in the implementation of the new Avaya VOIP Phone System project across the entire campus.
• Scoping of all cabling requirements to meet relevant standards required by the new Avaya VOIP system.
• Maintaining Data Centre, PABX Room and Comms Rooms across the Campus.
• Meet with contractors to scope work and obtain quotes, selection and supervision of third party contractors.
• Liaise with Help Desk staff and End Users for technical phone and onsite support.
