- Set and pack away tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware etc.
- Ensure adequate supplies at food/drink preparation stations.
- Greet customers upon arrival, take their orders, assist to prepare and serve drinks and food, take the customers' feedback and ensure their satisfaction.
- Create weekly staff rosters in such a manner as to maintain efficiency and minimize labour cost.
- Interview, hire, train new staff.
- Monitor staff performance on an ongoing basis and provide training and feedback when required.
- Take stock of food ingredients, beverages, cutlery, glassware, table linen etc.
- Purchase supplies.
- Pick up and arrange delivery of supplies.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to maximise value and minimize overhead costs.
- Manage social media accounts and create promotional content.
