• Implementation of the ITT (100 MW Hydro power station & KTML projects system of 300 kV transmission lines and substations (to facilitate provide additional capacity to copper mines, export of power to neighboring countries ) to best industry practices in line with, time table & technical description.

• Participation in the testing /commissioning of the transmission system upgrades and Substations.
• Assist newly formed EARP to design MV.

• Responsible for planning of up gradations /extensions to the medium voltage & low voltage Distribution Systems in all districts proposed to be electrified by EWSA (Rwandese national electricity company) in Rwanda considering electrified areas with high potential of fill in connections, areas requiring new LV network, areas requiring new M.V network & transformers, electrified areas requiring M.V & transformer strengthening, potential areas requiring LV strengthening & green filed areas
• This project was very huge covering both semi urban/urban areas and the investment, So the developments & investments were phased for implementation over a 7-10 year period
• The plan was prepared indicating siting &capacity of major energy related generation, transmission network which are required to correlate to the proposed distribution infrastructure in the entire region.
