• The Sony Camp Foundation aims to provide some respite for the parents and/ or carers of a disabled child during December, one of the busiest times of the year.
• Myself, alongside 20 other teenagers were the sole carers of a disabled child over the course of 3 days.
• In the months prior to the camp, we were taught how to work as a team in order to provide the best possible environment for the children as well as how to be responsible for another individual, a skill that many of us had not yet ever used prior to the camp.
