- I began my occupation at OPSM in February 2014 as an Optical Dispenser, from there I was promoted to Assistant Manager at Southland OPSM in 2017, I then transitioned to Store Manager at Bentleigh OPSM in March 2020.
I am currently the Store Manager at Frankston OPSM.
- Store operations & ensuring daily procedures are completed.
- Dispensing glasses tailored to customer needs.
- Troubleshooting glasses that may not be correct for the patient.
- Booking appointments/telephone & reception based duties.
- Coaching staff/training/hiring.
- Working closely with the optometrist with daily tasks in bettering our patients experiences and needs to tailor the best eyewear solution.
- Repairing customers glasses/fitting lenses in frames/quality control/using a vertometer.
- Completing reports/analysing data and KPI results.
- Dealing with customer complaints and coming to a solution in these instances.
- Being able to open/close and run the store in the managers absence/day off.
- Provide great customer service and recommendations on eyewear for individuals based on face shape/style.
- Repair sunglasses and adjustments.
- Complete stocktake, receiving in stock and sending out.
- Handle customer complaints to the best of my ability and come to a resolution.
- As a temp worker for Drake, I would be called into any workplace to complete a designated timeframe of work.
