  • Chairperson of the National Indigenous Social Work Group (NISWG) Services Australia 2021 - 2023 - and Deputy Chairperson 2020 - 2021 - Lead the NISWG to develop training and educational resources to support culturally responsive and safe social work practice in Services Australia. This includes the NAIDOC award winning "Two Way Strong" framework for culturally safe supervision
  • Member of National Indigenous Coalition (NIC) 2021 - 2023. The NIC is the peak consultative body for Indigenous affairs in Services Australia - Provided an Indigenous social work perspective into projects including the Agency's response to Closing the Gap; Indigenous Servicing Pathway Plan; Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan; Indigenous Service Officer (ISO) modernisation project; Selected by the NIC to present to CEO Jonathan Thorpe on the "Reimagining the NIC"workshop in 2022.

  • Facilitation of training e.g. Culturally Responsive Practice Training
  • Work with customers to identify barriers to participation, set goals, develop strategies, establish plans and facilitate engagement with agency and external service providers
  • Review and assess escalated customer issues and queries. Where appropriate, refer customers to senior staff, or relevant government and community services
