Am currently employed in Education Support, within a Victorian government primary school, working collaboratively with staff across the school to support students academically, socially and emotionally. Have been supporting students since 2014, in a variety of mainstream school settings, across all year levels from prep-year 6.

Key responsibilities:
• Collaborate with staff to provide an individualised approach to learning
• Model the school values which underpin the actions of the whole school community (Respect/Responsibility/Teamwork/Achievement)
• Utilise SWPB Matrix to highlight expectations/pre correction
• Provide classroom support for teachers as required
• Support students 1:1 & in small groups
• Support students in specialist classes
• Provide explicit feedback to students & utilise appropriate feedback tools
• Use available data to identify opportunities for improvement & targeted support
• Provide active & targeted play support
• Support students with toileting & assistive technology • Assist in modifying tasks/play to provide an inclusive environment
• Attend SSG meetings & support with meeting IEP targets
• Support EAL students & programs when working in the tutoring program
• Support numeracy & literacy intervention programs by supporting targeted students with their goals
• Collaborating with a range of internal/external professionals to support students with their involvement in wellbeing & social skills programs and speech therapy sessions

• Collaborate with teachers to support students within the classroom & yard
• Support students with a range of diagnoses and conditions including ASD (High/Low functioning), ADHD, , ODD, & Physical disabilities & non- verbal students
• Communicate with teachers & quickly establish student support needs
• Provide an inclusive environment by assisting in modifying tasks/environment
