Harsha is been working with John Holland, which which is a Tier 1 company leading in Australian construction industry. He is working on a Mega project Goldcoast Light Rail - Stage 3 which is a 1.3 Billion project, simultaneously where his main duties include

  • Developed project plans, budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Provided technical advice and guidance on design concepts and construction methods.
  • Coordinated with other engineers, contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers, and owners in order to ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.
  • Resolved technical issues arising from design or installation problems encountered at the site.
  • Collaborated with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement in the delivery of projects.
  • Ensured that all safety regulations were strictly adhered to during on-site operations.

Harsha has worked with Skeen Constructions, which expertise in building Major Roads, Bridges and Infrastructure works from past 20 years and work of TMR, Goldcoast council, and Tweed shire council and also done my sub contract works for top tier companies such as Ventia, Fulton Hogan and many more. He has worked on Major Road projects such as Mount Lindsey Highway Cryna Rd Intersection upgrade and Pavement Rehabilitation Stage 1 and Stage 2, Beaudesert - Beenleigh Road Karen Ct Intersection upgrade and pavement rehabilitation Stage 1 simultaneously where his main duties include -

  • Developing Work method statements for required lot of works according to the design.
  • Managing on site works according to the design and schedule by making 6 week lookahed programs and procuring required materials and organizing the required traffic and testers accordingly liaising with project manager.
  • Coordinating with TMR Inspectors and other subcontractors on a weekly basis and monitoring the progress of the project.
  • Managing QA with relevant checklists and ITP's according to TMR Specifications.
  • Managing ITP's, RFI's, NCR's in coordination with other engineers and subcontractors.
  • Maintaining SWMS for project specific works and verifying the competency of workers accordingly on a regular basis.
  • Involved in Tendering and program management by liaising with senior project managers.

Academic Projects

Analysis of Fiber Reinforced Composite Sandwich Sleeper for Railway Application (Dec 2016 — Apr 2017, Vizag, India)

Railway sleepers are the most important element in railway track systems. This project has
analyzed the use of fiber-reinforced composite instead of concrete sleepers which had shown
better results in both structural ways and economic ways.

Management of concrete waste generated by demolished structures (Feb 2021 — May 2021, Geelong, VIC)

Cement concrete waste is a big component of civil squanders all over the world. Despite the fact
that it has a higher reusing potential than other wastes, the majority of it ends up in landfills.
This research was developed to determine how much concrete waste is produced in Australia,
as well as the various options for recycling and reusing concrete waste from civil construction
projects.
