- Discharge Planning:Collaborating with the team to prepare consumers for discharge, ensuring they have appropriate follow-up care and access to community resources
- Offering emotional support and counseling to consumers during their stay in the unit
- Managing challenging behaviors, Implementing strategies to manage aggressive or disruptive behaviors in a therapeutic and safe manner
- Advocacy and Rights Protection, Ensuring consumer’s rights are respected and advocating for their needs within the healthcare system
- Actively participating in team meetings, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions to provide input and stay updated on patients' progress
- Practicing self-care and seeking support to prevent burnout and maintain emotional well-being
