I am a university student who is looking forward to gaining more experience and knowledge in the field of medical laboratory science. My previous volunteering experiences have shaped me into a more dependent and organized person, as well as developing my interpersonal skills. Studying in the medical laboratory science program at QUT allows me to gain knowledge that is closely related to the hospital laboratory working environment, e.g. laboratory equipment handling skills, human physiology, immunology, etc. These are the skills that I hope to utilize when working in a hospital laboratory, and to provide assistance when needed.
