Safety: Ensure a safe environment and culture.

  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment and comply with Goodstart’s safety policies, procedures and relevant legislation to recognise and address risks and non-compliance in the Centre.
  • Take all due care of self and others
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures always. This includes:
  • Reporting any incidents or hazards at work to their manager in line with Goodstart’s Health and Safety procedures
  • Utilising any Personal Protective Equipment or clothing provided to protect health and safety while at work

Also developed my business administration skills to proactively contribute to the Centre’s performance across all targets. Working closely with our Centre Director to ensure our Centre meets, as a minimum, the National Quality Standards (NQS), strived to positively influence overall Centre contribution results through our daily interactions with Educators. In the absence of the Centre Director, I was required to effectively lead and manage the Centre as a Responsible Person within Goodstart’s guardrails, recognising when to pull in state or expert services to achieve Centre targets.
