Natasha Buckley

I have been fortunate enough to have grown up in the tourism and ballooning industry and have had many different roles over the years within the company.

I was working as a customer service and reservations consultant as well as assisting the operations and maintenance teams. I currently am a full time crew member and bus driver.

These jobs involves:

• Organising safety seminars, team meetings and company events
• Training new staff members
• Completing admin and equipment audits
• Delivering proper and thorough safety briefings to all passengers
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe flight
• Bringing the vibe!

The Job itself requires you to be quick thinking and it is hands on.

I love working within the tourism industry because of all the different types of people you meet and creating a lifetime experience.

I thrive in an environment where i am surrounded by people.

Working at Fort Knox involves many different responsibilities, it is a sales role as well as admin, customer service, debt collection, reporting, rostering and security.

It is very much a team environment.

On each site we have the manager, assistant manager and casuals. We would work towards reaching weekly and monthly KPI's and growing the site's occupancy.

Throughout being in this role i have learnt:

• How to approve regular payroll submissions for employees
• Provided weekly work schedules / tasks to employees to accommodate business demands
• How to work in a role that is KPI and sales driven
• Ensuring customers are having high level of care.

I worked at Fergussons winery as a waitress mainly looking after tour groups, weddings and occasional walk ins. I loved working here as it was both high pressure as well as enjoyable.

I learnt the following skills whilst working here:

• Handling high-pressure situations with composure, maintaining excellent service standards even during busy shifts.
• Exhibited strong multitasking abilities, balancing multiple tables and orders while delivering prompt service.
• Maintained clean and welcoming dining environment, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Remained calm and poised when dealing with difficult customers or during busy shifts.
