  • I worked with the Coordinator to deliver a pre-school program to HIPPY parents (aimed at lower social economical families), within community. As a Tutor, I went into the homes and taught the program by role playing the actives with the parents who then applied what they learnt with their child in their everyday lives.
  • I headed activity days and organised excursions while attending many additional training's. In my third year I was a Senior Tutor and helped with training new tutors and mentored them in their roles. I had to keep records for each family and a number of other admin requirements.
  • Stayed informed about new resources and learning strategies as well as detailed information about tutoring subjects
  • Not everyone worked at the same understanding allowing me to construct and outlined unique lessons to fit individual needs in skill building and instruction on how to deliver to their child
