The years of experience that I have gained and enjoyed from my first job starting in Hospitality, to then over my working career, working in all styles that hospitality, including restaurants (chain brands to high end, do family owned restaurants), cafe styled venues, container / food truck ventures, pop up startups and then into the events world, from large scale 1000 seats, to bespoke celebrations in home catering, to weddings and the full catering from starters to the sweets selection and the cake. I have also worked many years within the nightclub scene, bars, pubs & hotels, restaurant bars, to bars within an event. More recently I have ventured into other parts of these worlds by doing styling, delivery of the event from inception to final drinks of the event, then also to the floral design and creation of the various needs from the clients and venue etc, also to be the actual event planner and point of contact for all things on the day of the event and the days leading into and the following days of bumping out of venues etc. My passions definitely surround the training and development of the teams needed in each event etc, and I also love the analysis of the components of each work place to ensure not only efficiency based decisions, but to see how the businesses heart beats etc…lastly I am old school when it comes to the ideas of hospitality and why we do it … and don't do anything with an "ok" mindset, but with a 110% no matter what the task, job or request asked of me.
