Accomplished educational leader with a robust tenure at Education Queensland, excelling in relational leadership, instructional leadership, stakeholder communication and governance. As Principal of St Patrick's College, I will draw upon my experience of leading innovative learning environments and building strong community partnerships to further enhance the school. As a school leader with extensive experience in community-centred schools, my focus is ensuring that students my sphere of influence with opportunities for what comes next in order to play their part in creating a better world.
Deputy Principal currently overseeing the Year 8 cohort (approx 200 students) with strategic line management of Mathematics, Science, Business and International Education. I lead a Student Support Team including Heads of Year, Year Level Coach and Guidance Officer.

Principal overseeing approximately 80 staff and 1000 students. I led an Executive Team including four Deputy Principals and two Business Managers and a Senior Leadership Team including the Executive Team with an additional eleven Heads of Department and two Guidance Officers. A key achievement during my tenure was successfully bringing the school together during their second attempt at a final phase of a Priority School Review (PSR) showcasing my emotional intelligence, collaborative and strategic leadership. I brought a fractured team together, giving agency and voice coupled with clear responsibilities and target areas.

I led an Executive Team including four Deputy Principals and a Business Managers and a Senior Leadership Team including the Executive Team with an additional thirteen Heads of Department and three Guidance Officers. A key achievement during my tenure was identifying an area of need in the curriculum moderation space across our school and as an instructional leader, leading the learning from the Regional Moderation Project amongst my leadership time and teaching team.

I led an Executive Team including 3 Deputy Principals and a Business Managers and a Senior Leadership Team including the Executive Team with an additional six Heads of Department. A key achievement of my tenure was showcasing my relational leadership and emotional intelligence. My arrival coincided the day after the substantive Principal was placed on suspension. I acted swiftly to build trust with staff and the broader community notably I re-established vital relationships with local primary schools and took multiple opportunities to engage and showcase State High within the broader primary cluster with the view to promote and showcase our school as a viable option for education. Furthermore, it allowed me to showcase my astute commercial understanding with a series of significant and outstanding financial decision needing immediate attention.

A key achievement of my tenure was showcasing my relational leadership and emotional intelligence navigating a range of sensitive union and staff matters as well as my financial and organisation governance, negotiating a complex contractual and financial issue between the P&C and current OSHC provider (Camp Australia) resulting in an amicable solution for both parties and one that mitigated potential risk to our school reputation and broader Departmental ramifications.
