  • I have been General Manager at Ogilvy Sydney for 8 years and in this time we have had one of our most successful periods in the agency's history. We have rebuilt the agency capability's to be one of Australia's largest agency's employing over 260 people in Sydney alone, and over 500 across the Ogilvy ANZ network.
  • We have won Agency of the year at the APAC Effie Awards 2020, 2021 and have just won runner up in 2022 winning 6 Effie awards (the award show that demonstrates client marketing effectiveness, not just creativity) across 4 different clients.
  • We have also won Employer of Choice for the 5th year running - the only agency in Australia to have won this award.
  • My role reporting to the national CEO means I manage all budget implementations, employee reviews, training, schedules and contract negotiations.
  • I have direct responsibility to develop and maintain all senior relationships with all our Sydney clients.
  • I am charged with maximizing efficiency by coaching and mentoring personnel on management principles, industry practices, company procedures and technology systems.
  • I lead the implementation of all operational strategies and effectively build client and employee loyalty. The turnover rate for both client and employees at Ogilvy is industry leading.
  • As part of leading an organisation that is publicly listed, I lead the budget development oversee P&Ls and achieved margin targets consistently to stay on track with growth plans.
  • We have successfully driven year-over-year business growth while leading operations, strategic vision and long-range planning. Ogilvy has consistently achieved growth and margin goals over the last 10years.

  • Was responsible for leading key clients Vodafone, Coca Cola, GSK and Purina
  • Client feedback was outstanding across all clients and I have managed to build long term relationships with all of these clients many years on.
  • Pursued every opportunity to increase account revenue and diversify group revenue streams by continuously evolving our offering with client needs and capitalizing on emerging trends.
  • During this time we relaunched the Vodafone brand in Australia after years of decline. We took the NPS score back into growth after many periods of negative scores.

  • Led the MasterCard business at McCann from 2004-2006. My performance led to my portfolio growing from MasterCard to leading the client relationship across all key clients within 12 months. This included CPW, Unilever, Cathay and Microsoft along with MasterCard.
  • After global re-alignment of the Unilever business to Lowe, the Unilever CMO asked if I was willing to move to Lowe to lead the team there on his brands.
  • In my time at Lowe I was the only senior client lead reporting to the CEO and led the FFA relaunch of the A League in Australia, and won a number of creative and effectiveness awards for our Lynx, Streets and Rexona work.

Interests

I have 3 kids, Jake 13, Alice 11, and Tate 9 so spend much of my spare time with them and being actively involved in their schooling and sporting endeavours.

I like to surf with my boys and coach Cricket and Rugby with them

I love the horses and enjoy following the 2 horses we own in a syndicate with a number of friends.

We love to travel as a family and particularly like to explore Australia together
