Volunteering

Volunteer Carer, Sony Foundation | (2017 – present)

The Sony Foundation’s Children’s Holiday Camp program is a unique respite program that sees high school and university students take on responsibility for the care of children with a disability, allowing their families to have a valuable weekend off.  I started this program when in grade 11 of my schooling and have continued to offer my support each year.

Football Coach, St Laurence’s College | (2018 – present)

Football coaching at St Laurence’s College gave me another opportunity to give back to my school community by coaching football for students in grades 9 and 10. I prioritised an emphasis on developing both technical football skills but also focused on progressing student’s leadership qualities and personal development as they progressed into their senior years of schooling. I found coaching rewarding as I could give back to my school. I continue to coach at St Laurance’s College, aiding with the Manchester City Football School academy selection process.

Other Employment

Private Tutoring | (2018 – present)

Since graduating high school, I have tutored grade 5-10 students to grow confidence and develop problem solving and independent thinking aptitudes that span beyond the classroom. The subjects I have provided tutoring in are general/specialist Mathematics, English, Physics, Biology, History and Geography. I have worked for the tutoring company ThinkSMART Tutoring and have also tutored privately.

Event Cinemas Brisbane City Myer Centre | (2018 – 2022)

From 2018-2022, I worked at Event Cinemas gaining additional duties in 2020 and 2021 as a Stocktake Coordination Manager and Duty Manager respectively. I found these roles rewarding and enjoyable, and they have taught me a lot about working as part of a team and interacting with the general public. [Take out.]
