With over 20 years of cross-platform media experience, I am a seasoned Group Business Manager who can deliver national commercial strategy, build and maintain key client relationships, develop new business opportunities, lead, manage and mentor a team. I have a proven track record of driving growth and innovation across broadcast and digital assets for Seven West Media, one of Australia's leading media companies.
My expertise spans account and stakeholder management, business development, presenting, brand solutions, sales, change management and media integration. I have presented at events with 100+ people, successfully managed major annual and fiscal negotiations, managed portfolio's with annual investments of $80M+, worked across major events including 6 x Olympic Games, developed and implemented insight-led business plans, as well as recruiting, leading and inspiring a high-performance team. I have served as a board member and President for MUSC and won multiple awards internally & externally for exceptional client service outcomes, integrated client solutions and personal pursuits.
The Group Business Manager was an entirely new role and new division that did not exist prior to me taking it on. From the outset I was tasked with building a new team from scratch, taking on entirely new elements of the business including the Digital platform & Regional broadcast, and establish a completely new way of doing business with our client base. This also involved establishing entirely new relationships. Over the next 12-18 months I built this up to a team of 12 and achieved every single metric and target we were given. Not only this we overachieved on all our budgets, became the only group to grow in a declining market and become the most successful team nationally within 18 months.
Within the Group Sales Manager role I had the opportunity to lead major sponsorship and integrations for the Network. I successfully delivered on all major project targets from 3 x Olympic Games, AFL sponsorships, Australian Open Tennis sponsorships and program partner integrations. I twice received nominations of Victorian TV Salesperson of the year, along with numerous internal quarterly and integrations awards. My proudest outcome though has always been seeing those within my team develop their careers and go onto to achieve their own success.
