Employed as part of the endoscopy team for approximately six years, working in the areas of endoscopy assistant, anaesthetic nurse, and scope processing.
Proficient in assisting gastrologist and respiratory physicians in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP,s, EUS, balloon enteroscopy, bronchoscopies and EBUS
Confident in assisting anaesthetists with airway management and where required intubation.
Up to date with the requirements the endoscopy facility must complete to comply with AS/NZ4187 standards.
Prior to working in endoscopy I primarily worked with infusion patients, administering and implementing patient care, a large part of our patients were IBD patients .
