  • Employed as part of the endoscopy team for approximately six years, working in the areas of endoscopy assistant, anaesthetic nurse, and scope processing.
  • Proficient in assisting gastrologist and respiratory physicians in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP,s, EUS, balloon enteroscopy, bronchoscopies and EBUS
  • Confident in assisting anaesthetists with airway management and where required intubation.
  • Up to date with the requirements the endoscopy facility must complete to comply with AS/NZ4187 standards.
  • Prior to working in endoscopy I primarily worked with infusion patients, administering and implementing patient care, a large part of our patients were IBD patients .
