As a lifeguard at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre, I monitored swimming sessions and observed swimming lessons to ensure the safety of all participants. I maintained a vigilant presence, responding to emergencies and providing first aid when necessary. Additionally, I upheld cleanliness throughout the facility, including the gym, changing rooms, and communal areas, while offering friendly and professional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.

During my BTEC Sport course, I gained hands-on experience coaching children in sports like rugby, netball, and other school-based games. I was responsible for planning and delivering structured sessions, setting clear objectives, and adapting activities to suit different age groups and skill levels. I also ensured a safe and positive environment for all participants. In addition to coaching, I occasionally umpired and refereed games, which helped develop my decision-making and leadership skills. This experience strengthened my communication, organisation, and understanding of effective coaching techniques.
