Niall Teasdale

Completed a 3 year apprenticeship, first year classroom and work shop based at Coleg Cambria, Wales. The following 2 years I was in the factory moving through the different department's learning and working on commercial aircraft wings. Including the fitting of electronic components, hydraulic components, fuel pipes and fixtures and also flying controls.

Upon completion I was qualified and worked independently, I was fitting the aircraft wings and certifying my own work ensuring maintaining a high level of quality for 15 months.

• Applied strong problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges that arose during the fitting process.
• Followed safe work practices, which included working from heights, working in confined spaces and personal protective equipment.
• Reduced downtime by performing preventative maintenance on equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
• Performed detailed inspections of completed assemblies, ensuring adherence to quality standards and client requirements.

• Loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas.
• Worked alongside team to accomplish work goals according to schedule.
• Expanded skill set through continuous learning of new techniques, tools, and equipment related to laborer tasks.
• Supported construction projects by assisting with heavy equipment operations and manual labor tasks.

Part time employment working in the agricultural sector, specifically turkey farming, maintaining a healthy and safe environment whilst collecting and quality checking the eggs that are laid. It has given me a good work ethic, great organisational skills, along with further awareness of health and safety
issues and how to appropriately report them.

• Enforced proper storage of fertilizers and materials used in agricultural production.
• Working with livestock with the proper handling techniques.

I provided administrative support and gained experience in a busy clinical health care environment, whilst communicating with both patients and staff.
During my time there I was given the opportunity to attend the basic life support course giving me experience of resuscitation and first aid training alongside the regular staff.
