  • Worked as part of an engineering team to complete a £55 million, top-down highly demanding, and complex residential and commercial construction project at a prime location in Central London.
  • Managing & training site engineers, and ensuring they are carrying out their tasks and setting out correctly.
  • Managed solely all the given setting out duties for vertical/horizontal and curved elements along with ramps, excavation levels, dig and invert levels for drainage systems, providing exceptional assistance for all tradesmen.
  • Carried out Q/A checks ensuring all rebar has been installed correctly, relevant water bars & cast-ins have been included prior to concrete pours along with concrete testing on site prior to the concrete pour.
  • Completed final checks on all formwork, decking, and propping ensuring they were adequately secured prior to concrete pours.
  • Daily monitoring of any structural movement, deflection of props and reporting on a regular basis.
  • Undertaking any safety related tasks such as inspection of voids and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Checking and ensuring that the design and drawings have been followed correctly by tradesmen, monitoring CAD files, raising RFI's for any discrepancies and providing final asbuild drawings for handover to client.
