I currently work as a master 5 MED 2 for this company. I work multiple vessels and look after crew.

In this roll i also:

• Command, operate and navigate multiple vessels.
• Train new Crew in operational procedures and drills for emergency situations.
• Oversee the loading and unloading procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of deckhands. Ensure they comply with company policies, maritime standards, safety legislation and other regulations.
• Navigate a safe passage through the harbour.
• Monitor geographic positioning by utilising different navigation systems including satellite AIS, VHF and modern radar.
• Perform berthing, un-berthing and securing the vessel to wharfs.
• Provide assistance and duty of care including first aid and RSA as required.
• Provide support to the Crew, as needed.

⦁ Maintain engine room stores and record the usage of parts and equipment and expenses.

• Performed multiple roles MASTER, First Mate and General Purpose Hand (GPH).
• Command, operate and navigate fast ferries transporting passengers in a safe and timely manner from Manly to Circular Quay / Darling Harbour.
• Oversee the loading and unloading procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of deckhands.
• Monitor geographic positioning by utilising different navigation systems including satellite.
• AIS, VHF and modern radar.
• Perform regular engineering checks and tests on vessel equipment.
• Undertake preventive maintenance and minor repair of equipment.
• Ensure the engines and associated equipment is operating efficiently and safely in conformance to regulations.
• Complete Passenger Counts, Maintenance Logs, Engine Logs, Hazardous Material Reports and Incident Reports along the route.
• Undertake Scheduled Engineering Maintenance at Base including changing oils, oil filters and refilling fluids.
• Handle and resolve all operational issues and emergency situations promptly.
