- Full compliance to the WHS section of the Project Management Plan (PMP) and WHS policies and procedures
- Contribution to consistently improve on project safety statistics as measured by Company WHS KPI’s
- Strict compliance with legal obligations under relevant Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practices
- Acquire and keep up to date on WHS knowledge
- Any incident/accident investigations are managed and closed out in a timely manner
- Satisfactory attendance and involvement in project safety meetings
- Ensure subcontractors comply with their safety plans and company policies and procedures
- Demonstration of programme updates and programme status reporting
- Collation of Site Manager and Site Engineer weekly/monthly inputs into the programme
- Achieving defects rectification within program allowances
- Satisfactory compliance with all legislation, regulations and codes of practices
- Full compliance with policies and procedures
- Satisfy PMP mandatory responsibilities and input requirements, and contribution to PMP reviews
- All defects promptly attended to during the defect liability period
- Strive to exceed industry benchmarks with quality standards
- Review the contract construction drawings, specification and document registers as updated to anticipate potential problems and request clarification where necessary
- Demonstrate inspection and testing being carried out and witness subcontractor inspection and tests
- Quality Control (QC) reports prepared for completed construction activities, and demonstration of ongoing QC
- Maintain a cash positive position
- Maintain the responsibility of the project budget and justify expenses
- Satisfactorily complete the project monthly report
- Head contract and subcontract terms and conditions for each project to be correctly administered
- Satisfactory completion of commercial objectives associated with design and cost planning
- Assist the Project Manager with determining direct labour requirements in-line with budget allowance
- All project staff are properly inducted and trained in line with their occupation
- Strict compliance with IR and training sections of the Project Management Plan
- In conjunction with project commercial team, promote and ensure subcontractor compliance
- Satisfactory completion of subcontractor audits and performance reviews
- Develop contracts and scope of works in conjunction with the Project team and collate all information given by the project team
- Assist/run subcontractor meetings to ensure all construction objectives are on track with the contract programme
- Assist Directors, Contract Administrators and Site Foreman as required;
- Document Control on a project by project basis as required; Project and Office Filing;
- Answering phones in conjunction with other staff;
- Office and project correspondence using standard forms and templates;
- Assistance with tendering including estimating;
- Assistance with preparation of tender packages, tender comparisons, trade recommendations, subcontract and supply agreements;
- Assistance with subcontract administration including certification of progress claims, invoices and variations;
- Assistance with head contract administration including preparation of EOT's, NOD's, RFl's, progress claims and reporting;
- Assistance with JOBPAC data entry including project setup, entering subcontract agreements, purchase orders and variations, registering invoices and other tasks as required;
- Assistance with preparation of Integrated Project Management Plan on project by project basis including implementation where required;
- Attending project meetings and taking notes and issuing minutes to attendees;
- Assistance with project start-up tasks including preparation of site dilapidation reports, site establishment plans and gathering subcontractor insurances/signed subcontracts/SWMS's; and
- Assistance with project completion tasks such as preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, gathering certifications and assisting with defect identification and rectification.
