Nicholas Fray

I started my career at savco as a ground worker with no chainsaw/ arboricultural experience at all and worked my way up to become the crew leader and have been crew leader for many years.

I am motivated and passionate about my job and have tried to learn and get skills in as many aspect of arboriculture as i can including all tasks using a chainsaw from cross cutting to felling small to very large trees, working at heights using our ewp's or climbing, operate and conduct all essential maintenance on the chipper, communicate with customers professionally, work both in a team and individual environment, float machinery on the semi trailer and operate machinery including excavator and pozitrack.

I started my cabinetmaking apprenticeship after completing high school and completed my apprenticeship after 3.5 years. During my time as an apprentice and tradesman cabinetmaker i learned to do everything my job required me to do to be a good cabinetmaker including learning about safety, reading cutting lists and plans, cutting, edging, building and installing kitchens and cabinets. I had to work well in a team and also work alone when required.
