Apprenticeship 2008 – 2015

· Commenced my apprenticeship (Cert III in Carpentry) with Bruce Builders Pty Limited in 2008.

· In 2010, I was nominated for the building and construction apprentice of the year.

· Progressed to leading hand with Bruce Builders a short while after completing my apprenticeship, where I worked both alone and in team environments.

· I continued my employment there until 2015, when the company closed due to the local downturn.

Boyne Smelters 2015 – Current

· In April of 2015, I commenced work with Boyne Smelters on reduction lines 1 and 2 as a process technician.

· Accepted into the Boyne Smelters Emergency Response Team.

· In 2016, I was voted into the role of Safety Representative, as I have a strong passion for workplace safety and a keen eye for finding safety improvements.

· In 2018 was promoted to section leader.

· As of July 2021, I was promoted to reduction line crew leader, this tasks me with leading a crew of 21 people in a way that ensures that the performance of the team meets or exceeds the plan.

· Delivering operational excellence by identifying and implementing improvement initiatives, managing, and closing out any possible bottlenecks.

Highly-motivated employee with desire to take on new challenges. Strong worth ethic, adaptability and exceptional interpersonal skills. Adept at working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills.
