I’m an open-minded and globally aware person who’s lived in four different countries, which has shaped me into someone adaptable, culturally sensitive, and comfortable working in diverse environments. Growing up around different languages and cultures taught me not just how to communicate, but how to connect with people from all backgrounds.
From a young age, I always dreamed of creating something on my own, which led me to become a software engineer.
I started exploring entrepreneurship at 15 with friends, trying out small local business ideas, eventually launching an e-commerce startup and making our first real profits. Since then, I’ve constantly been developing new ideas. The most significant, and also the latest, was Unigrant, a startup I co-founded to help international students apply to study in Australia more easily. I led the entire technical side, building a modern web app to replace outdated, email-heavy processes. I paused the project recently to focus on my last semester of university, where I’ve been managing a team of five and working as a full-stack developer to create a newacademic workload allocation system for Curtin University.
During university, I’ve taken on several casual jobs, the latest being bartending. While not directly related to where I want my career to go, I’ve appreciated the chance to try different things, learn from new environments, and of course, save some money as a student.
I’ve also had experience as a developer intern in two tech companies, contributing to real-world projects and learning how to work effectively within structured teams.
Now I’m looking to step into my first corporate role, somewhere I can grow, bring value, and keep building things that make a difference.
UNIGRANT.COM
Unigrant is a startup I co-founded with my brother to support international students navigating the application process to study in Australia. Born from our own frustrating experiences with traditional agencies, Unigrant was designed by students, for students—offering a more transparent, modern, and user-friendly alternative. I led the development of a fully online platform that replaced outdated email-based systems with a seamless web application, allowing users to upload documents and manage their visa and course applications effortlessly. As the technical lead, I planned, built, and managed the entire website and application development. Despite pausing the project due to policy shifts and university workload, it was an invaluable technical and entrepreneurial learning experience.
WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT WEB-APP FOR CURTIN UNIVERSITY
As part of my final-year Bachelor project, I led a team of five to develop a workload management web application for Curtin University, our real-world client. The goal was to replace their outdated Excel-based system with a dynamic platform to efficiently allocate academic staff hours and streamline communication between academic staff, admin teams, and Heads of School. I served as Project Manager, overseeing task delegation, deadlines, and Agile/Scrum practices as Scrum Master. I also contributed as a full-stack developer—specializing in backend development while supporting frontend integration. The project will be completed in June 2025 as part of my graduation.
