Theatre

I have a strong passion for maintaining my skills, experience and artist-connections outside of teaching, in the world of theatre. Theatre helps me maintain a well-balanced life and brings me immense joy; a sentiment that I promote to my Drama students.

In 2021, I collaborated and performed in 'Tangerine Hour' at Metro Arts, with theatre company NDRNCE, and later performed with Mercury's Wings Theatre Company in our adaptation of 'King Lear'. In 2022, I reprised my role in Mercury's Wings 'King Lear' and performed in 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. I later went on to perform at Backbone Festival, in a devised performance named 'Pierrot'. In 2023, I have since renewed my role in 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'.

My connections to Brisbane and Gold Coast theatre allows me to continue to learn through ongoing professional development.
