Prior to moving to Toronto for the advancement of my husbands career, I was working in various industries. Prior to June 2006, was employed full time, however, February 2007 to May 2008, returned to part-time employment with previous employer, ATIA Insurance Services Limited.
Have held many different roles, all advancing the knowledge and experience in the Accounting area.
Since November 2010, have held an external position within my husbands medical practice, based at home overseeing the operations of the practice.
My family and I enjoy dining out at some of the most exclusive restaurants around town. Eg, Society, Yakimono, Hazel, Gimlet, Donovan's. & Grill Americano.
We also travel both internationally and locally annually. Not only for relaxation to Bali, Fiji, Hawaii, but also to explore countries around the world. We've skied in Japan and Canada, but also explored places - Cherry Blossom season in Japan. We lived in Canada for 2.5 years between June 2008 and September 2010 for my husbands work. We travelled quite regularly to places like Boston, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Jamaica, Cuba, as well as within Canada to Vancouver, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary.
I pride myself on staying fit and healthy. I frequent a gym and love walking our dog Oakley, a chocolate Labradoodle.
I am a hard working, very organised, multi-tasking person who has for the past 12 years worked tirelessly raising our 2 daughters, whilst also managing the 3 stages of our home renovation, along with managing the busy schedules of our daughters, both their school and extra curricular activities 7 days a week.
Along with staying abreast of my husbands very busy and expanding medical practice.
On a more personal level for the past 5 years, along with the help of my 3 sisters, we have been caring for our ageing parents (in their 90's) on a weekly basis. You probably think that taking on an employment position when you already have so much on your plate already is crazy, but the truth is "ask a busy person to do something and they don't think twice", "ask a person that has nothing to do and they can't possibility fit it in".
