Sewing

When I was 15 I was taught to make a quilt by my mentor as part of my 'Right Journey' studies. From here this fostered a love of sewing. Since then I have made outfits for myself, family and friends, including my formal outfit. This skill has afforded me the opportunity to do a short course at Central St Martin's, London. I have sewn for the Royal Queensland Show Competition - Natural Fibres and for leisure. Sewing is part of who I am. I have an interest in Stuart and Tudor fashion as well as costuming.
