As the Lead Educator at Small Steps Academy, I create and implement developmentally appropriate activities to support each child's growth in a nurturing environment. I observe and assess children's progress, communicate with families, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive classroom. My role also involves tailoring strategies for individual needs to foster their overall well-being and development.

Transitioning from Assistant Educator to Nursery Room Lead Educator, I embraced a heightened level of responsibility and leadership within the educational setting. As a Lead Educator, my role is multifaceted, encompassing not only the nurturing and development of young children but also the coordination and management of the nursery room environment. I am entrusted with designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities, fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment, and effectively communicating with both children and their families to ensure holistic development and meaningful engagement. With a dedication to providing high-quality care and education, I continuously strive to inspire and empower both my team and the children under my supervision, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and excellence.

My decision to relocate to Australia stemmed from a desire to refine my English skills and gain invaluable experience working with diverse children. As an Assistant Educator, I actively engaged in understanding and adhering to the Australian standards of children's wellbeing. This role provided me with hands-on experience in nurturing the holistic development of children, ensuring their safety, health, and emotional wellbeing in accordance with Australian regulations and practices. Through this position, I embraced the opportunity to immerse myself in a multicultural environment, fostering inclusive learning experiences that celebrated diversity and promoted mutual respect among children from various backgrounds.

During my tenure at the college, I served as a teacher for seven-year-old children while concurrently holding the responsibility of Vice Principal. In my role, I seamlessly balanced teaching duties with administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the school. As Vice Principal, I tackled various school issues, ranging from academic matters to student welfare and administrative challenges.

During my tenure at the college, I served as a teacher for seven-year-old children while concurrently holding the responsibility of Vice Principal. I worked as a primary school teacher for three years, where I taught literacy, numeracy, social science, creative expression, and physical education to seven year-old primary school students. My role involved presenting the prescribed curriculum using a range of teaching techniques and materials, fostering students' interests and abilities through creative activities, and guiding class discussions. I supervised student work, prepared, administered, and marked tests, projects, and assignments to evaluate progress, and maintained detailed records. Additionally, I discussed individual progress with students and parents, maintained discipline, and participated in staff meetings, educational conferences, and workshops. I also liaised with parents, the community, and business groups, and took on extra-curricular tasks such as assisting with sports, school concerts, excursions, and special interest programs.

During my Bachelor’s degree in Primary School Teaching at Uludag University,Turkiye. I actively participated in a research project under the supervision of Doc. Mizrap Bulunuz. My responsibilities included conducting thorough school analyses, meticulously recording all findings, and contributing to the identification of potential solutions. Furthermore, I compiled these insights into a comprehensive essay, showcasing my ability to synthesize research data and propose actionable recommendations.
