  • In May 2020 I commenced work as a Registered Nurse in QuEST
  • This role requires multiple skills to run a hospital wide service in a changing COVID environment
  • My previous clinical experience has aided me in providing education and risk management strategies for pressure injuries and falls
  • Being able to work effectively and efficiently in a team is an important part of working in QuEST.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Management, maintenance and education of specialised medical equipment
  • Key areas include Patient Trolleys and Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPRs)
  • Conducting and developing audits to ensure compliance with the National Safety & Quality Health Service (NSQHS)
  • Interpretation and analysis of audit results and delivery of reports to improve patient outcomes
  • Managing a team - Supervision and delegation of tasks to enrolled nurses and assistants in nursing
