  • Company Overview: NSWEC conducts, regulates, and reports on general elections and by-elections for the Parliament of New South Wales, with electoral services to local governments also provided. Website: https://elections.nsw.gov.au
  • My role schedules and coordinates the activities of single/multiple technical teams across various disciplinaries including business analyses, development and testing, plus liaises with subject matter experts, technical specialists, system architects, business owners and project managers.
  • Primary responsibilities included the delivery of the technical schedules for small to large and complex projects working with and in cross functional delivery teams with respect Agile (Scrum and Kanban), Waterfall and Hybrid delivery models including management of schedules, RAID, release and environments plans; Go Live deployments and hypercare/warranty.
  • Creating and managing backlogs, in consultation with Business Owners and subject matter experts, plus managing individuals as part of a team and assisting with the creation of technical documentation.

  • The current program of work delivered revolves around Funding and disclosure online, which is an online digital platform that supports political participants to securely, effectively and efficiently comply with electoral laws.
  • Over three releases this delivered major enhancements to the system to permit functions across Registrations, Public Funding, Registers Publication, Political Party registrations and Party Registers.
  • This is the first digital platform for Party and Member Registrations with the overall program of work has delivering a complex piece of Legislation for Funding Disclosures and Compliance unit, built on a SalesForce Lightning and Digital Experience platform (DXP) including migration (data & document).
  • Other projects worked and delivered across State and Local Government Elections include, BallotTrack, Telephone Assisted Voting.

  • Company Overview: ChildStory is a comprehensive information management system and collaboration tool used in NSW by at least 4500 users, Australia, by the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) to support children and young people in out-of-home care and child protection.
  • I was given various roles to step into and deliver other than that of my original employment. Initially joining into the team to manage and deliver on environments and releases, I was asked to step into the role of BA Manager and Scrum Master for the Business Analyst team.
  • During this time, I was instrumental in parallel to managing and setting up the environments and release management strategy for the program and later transition to business as usual (BAU) as this was a new role (Release and Environments Manager).
  • Later in August 2018 I was given responsibilities to take over the test management at both the program and BAU levels.
  • ChildStory is a comprehensive information management system and collaboration tool used in NSW by at least 4500 users, Australia, by the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) to support children and young people in out-of-home care and child protection.
  • ChildStory includes different modules tailored to the needs of various user groups: ChildStory Casework, ChildStory Partner, ChildStory Reporter.
  • Built on Salesforce, with MuleSoft integration and migration from the existing Siebel platform into Salesforce with integration to NGOs and other NSW Government Agencies, it was a complex end to end solution.

  • Initially commenced as Senior Test Analyst, I was quickly promoted to Test and Release Manager.
  • I was responsible for mentoring, leading, and delivering the integration of the HealtheNet Program into the national Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record (PCEHR) System program including test planning to deliver this phase into production.
  • The solution that was delivered held 30+ service points across 15+ integration points, which included mobile and web-based applications and encryption messaging.

  • Company Overview: The national curriculum was introduced to improve the quality, equity and transparency of Australia’s education system.
  • My role was to contribute to the quality assurance practice with ACARA, specifically around the reporting on schooling which is captured via the My School website.
  • My responsibilities included analysing business requirement specifications and developing test strategies, plans and test cases to test business rules as well as executing test cases to perform system tests and advising developers and business stakeholders on testing methodologies and processes.
