I volunteered during summer term break from studies at this NGO whose focus is ensuring displaced and disadvantaged children are given a safe environment, a family village to live and study in. I received training from the teachers and worked under the supervision of centre manager, the house leaders and the psychologist as an English teacher and activities coordinator. My responsibilities were to ensure the children were receiving a balanced study and play time, working within my scope of knowledge and to further implement a loving environment.
