Contribute to the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of corporate WHS procedures, processes and tools that are compliant with legislative requirements and the National Self-insurance Audit Tool.
Contribute to the development of WHS policies and objectives and targets.
Ensure WHS procedures and supporting documents are compliant with Work Health Safety legislation and regulations, Electrical Safety Act and Regulation, Heavy Vehicle National Law, Rehabilitation and Return to Work Act and Regulations, Building Fire Safety regulations, ISO AS/NZS 45001, ISO AS/NZS 31000, AS 3745, National Self-Insurer OHS Audit Tool and Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC)
Contribute to the development of Security standards that make up the Corporate Security Management System
Work proactively with WHS team members, other teams and branches to ensure the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of WHS processes and procedures.
Gather information, analyse compliance against relevant legal and other requirements (including Council policies and procedures).
Review and respond to feedback received on WHS procedures and Corporate Security standards following pre-consultation and general consultation
Partner with WHS advisors, security team and various Directorates within Council to ensure the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of security and WHS processes and procedures within the WHS Management System and Corporate Security Management System
Enter incident information and produce reports using WebSDS
Collate data and prepare the Monthly ES&H report
Prepare the agenda and run the weekly Safety Specialist Meeting in conjunction with the Safety Leads
Prepares the compliance dashboard of audits performed to distribute at Zero Accident Team meetings
Review site induction material to ensure consistency and accuracy
Conduct site inductions
Develop/update Subcontractor ES&H weekly reporting templates
Ensure Bechtel documents are updated where required and distributed to contractors through the appropriate channel
Collate ES&H data from Subcontractors and Bechtel
Analyse data to identify trends and develop graphical reports to meet project requirements
